Please be aware children moving into Year 3 in September will no longer be eligible to receive Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) therefore it is important that you do complete a FSM check, if this comes back as not eligible then you will be charged if your child has a school meal (£2.55 per meal)
What do you need to do?
We are asking all parents—especially those whose financial circumstances may have changed or who are currently receiving Universal Credit—to check their eligibility as soon as possible.
Birmingham City Council provides a quick, secure, and confidential online checking service.
Please follow these simple steps: Go to the Birmingham City Council FSM checking portal: https://apply.cloudforedu.org.uk/
Follow the on-screen instructions to register or log in. Enter your details to complete the check.
The online application is immediate, confidential, and will automatically notify us if you are eligible. You will only need to input your basic details (such as your National Insurance number and date of birth).
