Lea Forest Selected as RISE Reception Network Lead

We are thrilled to announce that the Department for Education has appointed Lift Lea Forest as a Reception Network Lead School for the national RISE Reception Networks Programme.

As one of only five schools selected across the West Midlands, Lea Forest will play a pivotal role in a major national mission: ensuring 75% of children achieve a "Good Level of Development" by 2028.

Our Regional Impact

To champion excellence in early years education, Lea Forest will serve as a collaborative hub for the West Midlands. In this role, we will:

Showcase Excellence: Host open days and school visits to demonstrate high-quality Reception practices in action.
Foster Professional Growth: Facilitate expert-led discussions on early years teaching and leadership.
Share Expertise: Distribute proven resources and pedagogical approaches to enhance provision in other settings.
Connect Educators: Lead regular network meetings to encourage regional collaboration.

We are eager to partner with colleagues across the West Midlands to elevate educational standards and ensure every child receives the best possible start to their learning journey.
